Is it possible for foods like spaghetti sauces, or whole tomatoes in sauce, if too much is consumed can it cause very very soft stool and having to go a few times? Im getting older and it seems certain foods cause me to 'go' a few times the next day and its either very small soft pices or mushy. Is this considered diahrrea or just diet changes affecting stool?

Hi, Ellen.
As one ages their gut becomes less tolerant to anything. You might start keeping records of responses of stool to dietary intake. Then when you can easily see a pattern it might be worth while changing the diet to avoid those things that may be a struggle for your gut.
