Thanks, R!
A "new study"? Edmond Szekely translated the dead sea scrolls about what Jesus said about health; Reference: "The Essene Science of Life" published by Academy Books, 3085 Reynard Way, San Diego, CA 92103 in 1976.
Jesus said that no food should be ever heated hotter than it got on a flat rock at noon on a sunny day.
Comments?

Um, Walt, dont you think that kind of narrows down our options, when it comes to cooking foods? Thats just not practical.
I wonder tho what Jesus would advise for today's lifestyle. I dont think he would be impressed, do you?

Maybe you could do this back in those days but know I think you would have problems with meats.

actually, fish was cooked over fire so the temps were probably a good 250' or so, which i've learned is hot enough to cook anything.

good story. glycation is the one aspect of aging that we can actually do something about. How many major media stories have you seen about this?

No, I am not. I just read their stuff sometimes.

How is it not practical, Bliss? Many people eat everything raw and find it very practical. It depends ONLY on your attitude.

Now science has confirmed a tale.

What days are "those"? Before pressure cookers? And why would one have problems with meats now? ... said R, swallowing the last piece of raw venison.

Otherwise I imagine that it would be easier to pop it in the oven on low to warm it up or even brown it.
I myself find some difficulty eating at noon with clocklike precision, even when the weather is co-operating.
Again, that oven is looking mighty handy, especially in the winter.
It's summer, so the appeal of hot food is much less. Salads, summertime fruit like watermelon, honeydew and canteloupe are the order of the day.
Maybe it's just easier to live longer in the summertime...

I agree, Miss.
I certainly am not doing it even though I do believe he was probably right.
R. has something to say.
