age spots

Dr. Stoll, do you have an explanation for age spots appearing only on the trunk and not on legs and arms? Just
curious. Thank you in advance. Rotraut

Hi, Rotraut.

No one yet knows everything about this phenomenon.

However, what we DO know links it to free-radical activity in the skin. Since the skin replaces itself totally, every 4 weeks, anyone should start to see results in 4-6 weks after the following:

Rub in vitamin E oil (get it from capsules since an opened bottle will have rencidity factors that CAUSE free-radicals) on any area where one wants to get rid of them. It might be a good idea at first to only do one area so you can compare and see how much the topical part of this is needed. Rub it in at least twice a day. The best way to use up the capsules without wastage is to use a needle to make a puncture in the geletin capsule and keep everything not used in the refrigerator.

Take at least 1000 units of mixed tocopherols, natural vitamin E a day orally (once a day is fine).

Take the essential oils described in the article on the homepage.

Take at least 2000 milligrams of esterified vitamin C twice a day.

Avoid sunlight.

Let us know how you are doing in a few months.

One thing to think about is that this damage is happening in EVERY part of your body. Your skin is just an easy place to see it. It is likely that, as you see the spots go, you will also feel benefits in your general health.

Walt
