Hi Walt,
Looking through the archive i see you recommend vit c as a cure to shingles. Would this be possible to take as squeezed lemon/lime or oranges? I know it would take some to get to this amount...but would it be as effective?
My mother has this at the moment and the doctor is ofering no treatment due to cost...?

maybe a million is a bit of an exageration
The Camu Camu fruit of South America has 2,700 mg Vit C per 100grames fruit...maybe the natural source of vit c should not be discounted...looking at the whole foods argument

Hi, Chris.
Her doc is not offering her the treatment because he doesn't know about it---not because of the cost. It would cost about $20/ treatment and she would only need about 5 treatments of 100 grams IV for 5 days hand running. See the forward of my book for another alternative he could prescribe.
She would have to drink the juice of a railroad car of oranges every day to get enough even if she could absorb it. The only way to get enough is IV.

Hi, Beegs.
I have not purchased any since I was forced out of practice but I still get fliers from those companies from which I purchased before and the prices are basically the same as they were 10 years ago.
The materials of a 100 gram vitamin C IV infusion cost less than $25. Most of the cost is to pay for the legal risk the doc is taking to help his patient. A little is for the professional help needed to start the infusion, monitor it for the hour it takes to run in and for the space in the office to DO it.
The cost I mentioned before was for the Magnesium direct IV infusions. Sorry I got them mixed up.
