Extensive food allergies

Posted by
Shirley on July 18, 2002 at 23:20:36:

I have been trying to overcome my allerigc reactions to foods (migraine headaches the next day) for years now, trying any number of modalities. They just seem to get worse. I know I should try to rotate but when you are down to about a dozen foods, and those are probably not what I should be eating, it is impossible to rotate. Herbs are out - I can tolerate no vegetables except potatoes. I know my diet is the worst possible for candida - oatmeal, wheat, bananas, yogurt, milk, but I am at a loss as to how to turn this around.

Hi, Shirley.

You must first deal with your LGS!!!!!!

What have you been doing about wellness and especially SR?

See the glossary for any unfamiliar terms and let us know what you learn.

Do not DO anything but learn until you understand what is going on.

THEN, as you get well, please share your experiences with the BB participants. Perhaps you can save others from going through what you have.

Walt

Thanks you two Rick and Walt!

Your jumping around thinking you know, what foods do what, to you, but it does not feel right the route you are taking. You need to detox the body and clean it out and actually put veggies into your food plan; You will go thru a healing crisis and i think that is what sometimes is happening to you, then you think it is caused by the food, when in fact it is cleansing your body and needs to come on up and out;
It sounds like booking yourself into a wellness ranch of some type and having them assist you in this would be a plus. There is the 5 day allergy book, i think it is by Dr. Mendale, that would help assist you perhaps.
Your going to probably need to be walked thru the food plan and let your body go thru the detoxification process.

I do intuitive kinesiology and i'm good at it, and if i can help you pin point the food sensitivities let me know.
Between Rick and Walt and getting a test, where can you go wrong-ha!Ha!We have to watch out for our head getting in the middle of it all! The ego is use to doing the eating and the self is always trying to fiqure things out with the past memory, rather then trusting in the guidence.
You've started-now keep going!
I'm fisty today-fired up! Solutions now!

Terri-Lynn,

Does your wellness ranch have a web site? I know you said you have one in Florida, but I don't remember where. I live in Florida, and would like to look into this ranch.

Thanks.

Hi Joanie,
The ranch is in Texas and we are headed there this coming Wed. and will be driving. It is a place that is layed back and way away from any toxins enviromental and away from large cities. Phone there is 1800-800-0432
The web site is www.wellbeingranch.org

We do not have one in Florida, but i work out of my home doing the breath work and the ELF [ecological life function] testing and we sometimes have people over night and even have had a few here for longer length of times. I travel and lecture all over the world and work out of people's homes on the road and sometimes doc's offices. Come and see me here sometime. I'm also traveling later this year in different parts of Florida giving workshops, so i might be in your area. Let me know what city your in; Give me a call at 772-595-3335

Thanks Terri-Lynn!

The reason you have aweful food allergies is LGS!! You need to avoid the foods that you are taking about because they are the very foods that WORSEN LGS!! Try to find my LGS diet in the archives. It is titled "BASIC leaky gut diet". Also, you need to practice SR in order to return normal blood flow to your GI tract. One supplement that I would recommend for you is SeaCure or SeaGest, whichever you can get. This is a pre-digested protein from white fish and is proven to help heal LGS (short-term solution only). Take 2 caps 3x daily between meals for 1 month. Then, you can lower the dose to 1 cap 3x daily. Eating more lactofermented foods will strengthen your colonic flora. This is all in the post that you should read. If you have trouble finding it, let me know

HY,
Thanks for your response. I will check out SeaCure & SeaGest, but if I can't eat fish it's possible I would react to this. Although if it is pre-digested, maybe not. Yes, I know I should get back to meditating, it just never seemed, by itself to make any difference. I HAVE tried it.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I know I have to deal with LGS, it's just I seem to be at a loss as to how to do that without getting sicker. I have tried meditation, but I admit I don't do it all the time. I've taken TM, have long known about the benefits of it but it just never seemed to make any difference where my foods were concerned. I have numberous tapes and have practiced Progressive relaxation, etc. I exercise, drink lots of pure water and try to keep upbeat. I've been seeing various practitioners for NAET for several years and am now seeing someone doing Dr. Ellen Cutler's BioSet. I keep hoping something will click. I've seen many nautropaths, chiropracters and alternative M.D.'s along the way.
I am going to order the book Relaxation & Stress Reduction Workbook and get back to meditating.

Thanks for your response. I agree I need to detox but checking in to a wellness ranch is not a possibility, although it sounds like a great idea.
I will try to order the 5 Day Allergy Book. I determine my sensitivity to foods through muscle testing, either doing it myself or having my husband test me. Mind you I've gone to a lot of practitioners who use this method so I'm very aware of how it is done. I also keep a food diary and have for years

Thanks, Shirley.

It sounds to me like you have never checked any of the SR things you have "tried" with biofeedback.

Once you find a SR that actually works you will start getting results. In the meantime the other 2 legs of the wellnes stool will help.

Looking forward to your call Joanie!
Just wanted to tell you that as of Wed. I will be on the road driving to Texas; I'll be then at 1 830-669-2649 at the Wellness Ranch way out in the country, with no planes, or no traffic. If you don't reach me here before i leave then try there on the 27th; I'll be back in Florida i think Aug. 9th or 10th;

I would be very suprised if you reacted to the product. It is the maldigestion of proteins that lead to allergies. SeaCure is 100% pre-digested and therefore cannot cause allergy.

You are right, I went for biofeedback training for my migraines a number of years ago but because of the stress of getting to the training (4 hours there, 4 hours back) I did not continue.
However, I've read enough on this that your suggestion that you want the blood to go to the gut will be helpful. Thanks for the help
