If someone is allergic to a food is it OK to use that substance in shampoos and body lotions? Could someone become allergic to a food item by being exposed to it every day thru personal products?

Thanks, Dawn, for a good question!
I do not know the answer (This whole field is advancing by leaps & bounds and only someone on the cutting edge of this concept would likely know the answer.)
Here is where I woulld go for it: 1. From a lay informational perspective, call the Chemical Injury Information Network (CIIN) former president Ginny Kloth at (404) 426-6783. OR, to track down the closest Clinical Ecologist, contact 2. The American Academy of Environmental Medicine, Box #16106, Denver, CO 80216. When you get to them, I would appreciate knowing their email, website, phone & FAX numbers.
Let us know what you learn. My guess is that they WILL be related since we are talking about "tissue hypersensitivity" here---------NOT the conventional "serum allergic concepts".
