I got it bad at the moment. Real bad.
Headache, heavy head, constant running nose, sneezing, dry throat, and dry cough now.
So I took a homeopathic remedy, but the only thing is that it has the potential to dry up my breastmilk. (Not good!)
But I took it last night, and sure enough, this morning, there was less milk produced due to it's drying effect. Pharmacist told me this can happen with anti histamines as well, that are used for hayfever, due to the drying effect.
So what natural remedies work great?
I have stopped taking that homeopathic formula, and will not take prescribed or OTC medication whilst I am breastfeeding my infant.
I have started taking garlic oil caps, but anything else that anyone can suggested I take?
TIA
M

Blissy,
I would start with esterified vitamin C to tolerance.
Let us know what happens.

thanks, walt.
The chemist ran out of the esterified c (tabs and powder) so I started taking (4)garlic oil caps instead. They work really well! I skipped taking it today (cos of feeling so much better) and symptoms are back!
