My daughter loves the taste of fried shrimp, but everytime she eats shrimp she has stomach pain. Someone said she is most likely allegic to them. My question is could this be so? And if so, is there something she can do before she eats shrimp to help this? Or should she stop eating them for ever? Thanks

Your daughter IS likely allergic to shrimp.
HOWEVER, having said that, she should use this fact to alert her to her LGS which would have to be present BEFORE she could develop these symptoms as a response to that alleregy and PROBABLY the allergy itself.
LGS has been discussed so many times on this BB that, when she is ready to actually resolve the cause, and not just stop eating shrimp, suggest to her that she looks this up on the homepage of this 'site AND in the archives.
Until she does this, eliminating the shrimp will give her relief from the symptoms caused by eating them. BUT, she will just develop other hypersensitivities to other stuff until she decides to become a student of what her bodymind is trying to warn her about with these symptoms.
