Skin condition/Scalp condition/dry eye

Posted by Avani Hirway on January 26, 1999 at 14:53:15:

Hi Dr. Stoll,

I have the following three problems:
(1) I wear contact lenses and recently I have been having dry eye problem (my eyes get red when I put on contact
lenses for 5-6 hours). My eye doctor says that women after
25 sometime have that problem ( I am 27)
(2) The other problem is that I have dandruff. I have tried a lot of shampoos to remove it but, I have not been successful. The dandruff reduces and come right back if I
don't wash my hair for a couple of days.
(3) I have skin rash ( That's the best way I can describe it). The rash is almost skin color and nobody notices it since it is not very conspicuous. The rash is mainly on my
hands - elbow to the wrists. There is some new rash on my
forehead and neck. My dermatologist says he doesn't know
what the problem could be.

Could these three be connected?

I have recently read quite a lot of stuff on alternative medicine and just yesterday a friend of mine gave me your website. I will give you a call and try to arrange an appointment with you if I don't get any response from the BB.

Thanks a lot,
Avani

Hi, Avani.

All these conditions are related to allergy so it is likely that THAT is the underlying cause of all of them.

I just responded to another note about eye irritation like this this week. See if you can find it on the BB. Although those recommendations would not cure the cause, they would give you symptomatic relief till we can dig out the basic causes.

Your hand, arm & neck problem is a mild form of eczema.

Your dandruff would improve by your using the essential oils described on the homepage of this 'site and your eczema would likely improve a lot at the same time.

HOWEVER, in the long run, you are going to have to deal with LGS as a cause of your allergies and LIKELY, candida has become a complication that is directly infulencing at least both the skin problems.

Walt
