I need help. Ever year for the past 3 years I've had very bad reactions when ever trees are pollenating. These reactions are not typical when you think of an allergic reaction. When trees are pollenating I react by developing extreme brain fog and depression. For most of March and April I feel so debilitated that doing much of anything is almost impossible. I feel that if I don't do something soon I'll go insane. Where can I move to in March and April to get away from tree pollen? Is there any place in the US I can go? Is there any place in the world? Do I need to go to the southern hemesphere in the spring? What about some tropical island? Are there any resources on the web for world pollen data? Does anyone know of a good allergy doctor who might have this data? It's no use for me to look for a medical solution as I've tried it all and nothing works. I think moving and escaping tree pollen is my only hope. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,
I know people who go through similar reactions that live
in the valley in California when the fruit trees are blooming. My daughter was having a hard time getting up in the mornings. I took her to the Dr. because I thought she had mono. It turned out it was allergies..
I have a friend who is taking Fenegreek to help her allergies. I believe olive leaf, and nettles is some other good herbs for allergies. you can find these herbal supplements at a health food store. The health food stores have lots of information on helps for this right now. Its the season.
take care

Have you tried 4-5 grams of ester-c twice a day along with 200 mgs of B6 and 1 gram of mag. glycinate daily? It has worked for me.

Hi, David.
Statistically, you need to consider Arizona.
However, in the past 20 years many Arizonians have planted trees from the rest of the country in AZ and just irrigated the hell out of them to keep them alive.
SO, the same pollens are starting there as well.
However, in the long run, if it were me, I would work on serious wellness to get rid of the causes of my hypersensitivities.

Thanks Walt! I lived in Ariz. for 16 years and had bad problems with pollens at least once a year to a point i had laryngitis and could not talk much [this was good for me-ha};Kidding!
Here is what i found; I stayed off all Wheat and that included white and whole wheat products, especially a month before the season started;
I also stayed off all dairy especially the spring time; Aslo off fried foods;
You see when you get rid of the mucus in your system-that is over kill; then the pollens have nothing to excrete, sounds silly ,but worked for me;
Now here is a funny way to look at pollen-i think sometimes that they are doing us a favor, trying to clean up the excess toxins and the snezzzing and blowing noise which i did a lot of was a help. At the time i did not think that at first i was so miserable, but now that i see what caused it i smile; Try it!

Thanks, Terri-Lynn.
Of course you are right: It is the total allergen load that is important.
You will recall that I even have a chart in my book explaining exactly this phenomenon.
I appreciate your reminding the BB participants of this important mechanism. It illustrated a VERY important concept in a holistic perspective of health.
Namaste`

I can give you a piece of advice, I can eliminate one big area here where I live. Do not move to the piney woods of East Texas, We have Evergreens around here the pollen is so severe you can not hardly see what color your car is at times. Your windows are totally covered in it.
