hello, I have been hospitalized recently for what appeared to be kidney stones.I underwent cystoscopy and the Dr. said my ureters looked fine and there appeared to be no stones. I also have undergone tests to rule out ovarian problems and my appendix and gallbladder have both been removed. The pain is always on my right flank, although it radiates to the groin and sometimes the upper right side as well.On examination the area of my lower ribs (flank) was very sore. The Dr. mentioned rib inflammation but I thought that only lasted several weeks and this has been bothering me about 4 years.I also experience widesread joint pain, fatigue and swelling of my hands and feet on occasion.I am baffled at this point and frustrated because I want to feel better and I get the feeling that I starting to be viewed as a chronic complainer! Thanks for your help.

Hi, Stephanie.
ALL! All of your symptoms are due to chronic bracing and until you deal with that you will continue to be "practiced upon". Read the glossary and then the archives and let us know what you learn.
THEN, as all your symptoms disappear, I would appreciate your sharing your experiences so as to help prevent others from going through what you have gone through.
