I seem to be constantly worrying about everything health related, and sometimes job/life related. Many times this worry leads to feelings of depression and disatisfaction. I know there is no credability to these feelings, because if I step back and manage to shake off the mental state I am in, I see things are not that bad, and are actually good.
I was wondering if there are things I should be doing, suppliment-wise, or health-wise, that would improve my mental state and "way of thinking".
I would like to not worry as much about things.

Hi mmreed,
My suggestion to you would be to read the article on this website, "How to be Healthy." Following the great advice in the article improves all aspects of life including mental, emotional and physical.
Also, there's a book called, "Mind Over Mood" which can guide you into understanding why you are worrying so much. It's a workbook and can be very useful.
Best wishes,
Happygal

Hi, mmread.
Listen to Happygal and in the meantime, read the brain chemistry archives.
Let us know what you learn and how you do.

Might I also suggest from somone who is genetically predisposed to these types of feelings and well as having a diagnosis of bipolar, that a little bit of lithium salt might really help...Not 100% sure, but I don't think the stuff really hurts you either.
Try this too. Magnesium Glycinate 400-800mg/day
Calcium Citrate
Essential Fatty Acids:
I haven't tried GABA and L-Glutamine yet, but that's next.
You might have some food sensitivities.

Hi Matt,
I was interested in what you said. Could you please tell more about your experience? Did you use these things and find that they helped you? Did you use them only, or did you also work with a psychotherapist or counselor to help your condition?
Thanks, and best wishes,
Happygal
