Very interesting. Due to the fact that I have Protein C&S Deficiency, allopathic medicine had doomed me to become a victim of early onset of Alzheimers Disease, apparently a common side effect( whether of the disease or from the medications is a moot point).

In Sept.2001 The Economist ran a small article on Alzheimers, stating that nicotine was found to be beneficial in treating the condition.

I live a very active life. Mental stimulation must have a role in alleviating the condition. I was 30 something when I was told about the possible early onset of Alzheimers and I am now past my 50th birthday and continue to have a very keen memory.

Can't get to the link but I heard that metal stimulation like
games and puzzles avoided or postponed Alsheimers even in
people that they clained had brain problems thought to
cause it. Zarzin's reply seems to suggest that is in the
info.

I heard that smoking also protects from Parkinson's. It
helps me concentrate. I wonder if the patch would help
also ?
