I wipe and clean myself. I clean in the shower and everyhting. However after I use the restroom I wipe and then about 5mins. later I feel moist in the anus area. It feels like things were leaking.
So I go to the restroom to wipe and sure enough there is crap all over the toilet paper after I wipe. And this goes on for what seems like a good portion of the day.
What could be causing this? Is it something I am eating or what. I eat healthy and get fiber and all that. I jsut can't figure it out. It has been happening for a while now.

Why not go to a proctologist or gastroenterologist? Sounds like you obviously have incontinent problems. The anal sphincter muscle might have weakened leading to your leakeage. Maybe if you do exercises with that muscle it might help. Get it checked out though..

Herald,
I am surprised because I am sure that I archived the most common cause of this very thing within the past year. Did you actually read through the archives and the archived responses?
Exhaustion of the anal sphincter, due to years of chronic bracing ["being a tight-ass :o)], is the most common cause.
Specific biofeedback techniques (using an anal probe which any experienced biofeedback technician--see the biofeedback archives for how to find one that knows about) can resolve this pretty quickly. However, SR (also certified by a session or two of biofeedback) for total body relaxation will also resolve this. Even though it may take longer it would be much less expensive.
Let us know how you do.
