Hi Dr Stoll,
Got a nice new computer.
??2 months ago I needed 2 blood tranfusions as well as, the doctors found anemia and low low pressure.I never knew you could lose blood over time and never see a drop of blood.
So I had the colonostopy--down the throat test nd the heart
stress test as well.
Then 2 weeks of physical therapy, OT and lots of swimming for RA.
But now they are monitoring the blood every 2 days becaue the white cells are very low as well as other areas of the blood seeming to be in critical shape. A nurse called and said if your temp goes over 99 go to an emergency room immeditely.
Is there a way to improve this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi, Love.
Bad news! This sounds like myelodysplasia or even a more advanced condition (same thing but more advanced): agranulocytosis or aplastic anemia (archives). Look these up in your medical book or go to the reference section of your library and ask for help.
If you ever saw the Peter Sellers film "Being There" you have seen this condition--far advanced. The rich guy whose house he ended up in had it.
This is now thought to be caused by a genetic hypersensitivity to environmental chemicals, most common are termite treatments, lawn treatments, pesticides, herbicides, outgassing floor or wall paneling, chemicals at work, etc.
You need to get all copies of your records together, along with a careful history as described in the Health Coaching Protocol, and see a good clinical ecologist ASAP in consultation. See the Multiple Chemical Sensitivity archives for how to find a good one in your area.
If I knew what part of the country you lived in I might know of a good one personally.
Let us know what you learn.
Walt
