Hi Dr. Stoll,
I would like to know how long does it take to recover
from iron deficient anemia,given that one is taking the proper dose of iron.Does it take weeks,months or a year?

This ALL depends on WHY you might have it. If the cause is dealt with the resolution is 4 months since that is the lifespan of red blood cells.
