I have been having some health problems lately and part of my blood work has come back with that I have enlarged red blood cells. What causes this and what can be done about it?

Dear Valorie,
By far the most common cause of this is a problem with vitamin B12 metabolism, absorbtion or assimilation.
The exact "indices" (measurement & concentration lab report) usually makes rthe diagnosis.
Unfortunately, the allopathic paradigm has been to only use injectable vitamin B12 to resolve this. Although your RBCs will respond by getting smaller, the allopathic paradigm totaly ignores why this is happening so new problems show up in the future. Then, THEY can be treated as well----quite an annuity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If this were me, I would seek out a competent complementary medical practitioner within a reasonable distance and turn everything over to him/her. This will be too complex for you to handle alone for a while.
