Der Pam,

Thanks for the enlightening note & vote of confidence.

I would suggest that you re-read the chapter in MY book about stress. Although you DID "get it" about the stress-effect storage that accumulates day by day, from the MAH, MAS book, you still seem (from your note) to have a deep feeling that most stress (if not all) comes from psychosocial factors. These kind of stressors make up less than 10% of the stressors that accumulate stress-effect year by year AND are the hardest stressors to do something about..

You are finally moving in the right direction. Let us know how you do.

Walt

Hello, I have a 17 year-old friend who I fear is anorexic. She nor her family realize this fact. I need help. What do I do? She has been at this for a few years. HELP!

Dear Sarah,

Since the vast majority of anorexics are deficient in inrtracellular zinc, the very first thing to do is go to someone local who knows how to administer the "zinc talley" test. This is just a taste test that has been shown to be the most accurate test available. It takes about 5 minutes in the health practitioner's office. Most Chiropractors, Naturopaths, etc., would have it available.

For those few who do not have that as the cause, they need to alter the hormonal output from the hypothalamus and that can only (so far as is presently known) be accomplished by the regular practice of effective skilled relaxation techniques at least 20 minutes twice a day (not including any done within 2 hours of retiring). The problem wil be gone in 6 months but the person can only stop doing it at their peril. Go to the homepage for this 'site to learn about skilled relaxation (link on this page).

Let us know how she does. This is another terrible condition that can be laid at the doorstep of the AMA. These solutions have been known for 20 years & resisted by the AMA although conventional medicine has NO solution at all. "Dog in the manger."

Dear Lauren,

Your best introduction to that would be to get a copy of my book (link below). Short of that, choose a condition and use the search feature provided for this BB & read everything about it. The questions are followed by the responses and the responses to my responses and their responses to my responses to their responses.

THEN, if you still have questions, write again. There are literally thousands of subjects and an average of 3-4 responses to each request.

Walt
