I am a 54-yr.old female. I have begun to experience some pain and swelling in my hands and fingers. The joint of my ring finger is noticeably swollen. I am assuming this is arthritis, but my question is, what kind? Osteo or rheumatoid? I also have some stiffness in other areas of my body, but not any noticeable swelling. Thank you for your help.

Hi, CC.
Start by going to the glossary for any unfamiliar terms. The first you need is arthritis, then LGS and finally bracing and SR.
Next, you should start glucosamine sulphate 750 milligrams twice a day & 2000 milligrams of omega 3 fish oils twice a day.
Let us know how you are feeling in a couple of weeks and what you have learned in the meantime.
