OA and RA

Posted by Dennis W. on May 10, 2002 at 10:13:50:

In response to kt's posting on May 8 regarding RA someone replied that if you get your LGS under control the RA will go away. Does this work for degenerative arthritis as well? I have read a lot of the arthritis posts and I am sorta picking up mixed signals on this question from what I read. Anyone know ?

All RA is degenerative - you are deficient in magnesium and you need to do some colon cleansing and liver detoxing - along with taking some antifingals (garlic) to get your candida back under control and healing your leaky gut. Your diet must also change along with all the above mentioned things if you want to reverse RA - regardless if doctors say it's degenerative or not.

Thanks for your reply. What I really was referring to was degenerative joint disease, sometime called osteoarthritis. My doctor says that it is different from RA but I am learning not to always trust what he says.

RA will do joint damage and OA usually only causes swelling and pain so for once a doctor was right!

Yes. the degenerative arthritis will improve as well. However, more usually needs to be done in the case of degenerative arthritis as there can be many secondary factors that lead to it----weakness, injury, poor nutrition, glucosamine deficiency, as well as poor utilization of calcium. Correct the LGS AND the secondary causes and you will make much more progress

Hi,

I can't tell you how to treat OA or RA, however, here's a short website which describes OA and RA. My dad had RA and beat it with vitamins and a few other things. I've got OA and taking glucosomine chrondrotin. It's my understanding that OA is mostly degenerative without swelling. RA is the one which swells, hurts, and lead to deformity of the joints.

Located a few websites through google.com for you to review prior to Walt's reply in order for you to have an understanding of OA va RA.

You can obtain more information by researching through the archives on this BB as well.

Hi, Dennis & Rick.

Medical science marches on!

This doc would have been "right" about 10 years ago but his statement now just dates his knowledge.

It is now known that the differences between OA & RA are not nearly as great as previously thought. Actually the mechanisms of causation are identical (LGS, hyperimmunity and wear and tear of inflammed tissues) it is only the genetic susceptibility of the individual that determines which kind they will have.

That means that, so far as the individual is concerned, the things they can do for themselves are just about the same.

Hope this helps.

Walt

Just an FYI - for those that have looked into Edgar Cayce remedies he essentially pained the picture that RA and OA are different responses to essentially the same underlying set of conditions. I believe this is totally in keeping with Doc Stoll's commements !

HY,

You're saying there is such a thing as a glucosamine deficiency? Could you elaborate? Do some individuals fail to produce a sufficient amount of glucosamine due to their genetics?

Thanks

Thanks, Tom F.

I was unaware of that fact.

However, every single Cayce pronouncement, that conventional medicine has taken the time to check out, has been proven to be true. Many are still beyond the current science of medicine to understand WHY but they are true nonetheless.

I am gratified to hear that I agree with Cayce on this point.

Namaste`

Walt
