I saw some posters the other day of the damage RA can do.
I have been reading and studying here and doing most of what is suggested and I have seen
results.
My question is: Do I keep on doing all the alternative things until all symptomns are completely gone? And that seems like a long time.
RA seems so destructive and I know Iam on the right path, but it is also scary.
I guess I would like to hear from what people did who have no RA pain.
Thanks

In addition to S.H.A.P.E.'s info please consider a visit to Josseph Hackett's web site at http://jhackett.topcities.com for his story regarding RA. Joseph presents a very complete timeline of his progress to date. A part of what Doc. Stoll presents here is part of "wellness" and should be followed essentially for life. RA and many other conditions are what happens when what you have done with yourself takes you way off the wellness path. To get better, a more strict approach is needed. As Joseph explains it, once he identified foods that caused arthritis flare-ups he could induce pain at will by eating those foods. In time his LGS and candida improved, and he could at times stray and not suffer. I have OA, and have been using the approach outlined here for that. I am by my own admission not the best disciplinarian when it comes to what I eat, but I have learned that when I do as I should pain goes away and flexibility returns. I can slip now and then, have 2 eggs in the morning, a real problem food for me, and if I do it once I am ok. If I get the same idea a few days later the reaction is immediate and painful, so while I am better, I am not well. But I am learning.
What did the elimination diet tell you about your metabolic type?

I have done my own elimination diet and keep a journal daily and instantly know what caused the problem.
I have been reading so much I get a headache
Thanks

Hi, Anna.
Congratulations on already finding something that is helping with this very serious problem.
First, listen to Tom F & Rick.
Next, never stop learning since there is likely a better way for you than just what you are presently doing.
Since this is such a serious breakdown in anyone's system, once you figure out what helps the most, if you ever stop it you are playing Russian Roulette!
Let us know what you learn and how you do.
Walt
