Dr. Stoll, first of all I want to say that I just finished reading your marvelous book (couldn't put it down) and I intend to order 4 copies to give as presents. I wanted, however, to share a tip with you about arthritis. My father did the apple cider vinegar with honey (taken 3xs a day) for two months more than a decade ago and his arthritis cleared up completely! (15 years later at age 89 1/2 he is still the church organist)!. Mother got inspired and did the same treatment and hers is cured, too.

Thanks, Lorena.

I wonder what % of people this would work for? I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who tries it!

Namaste`

Walt

Daddy says you mix equal parts of honey and apple cider vinegar. Then you take a total of 4 tablespoons throughout the day. He took it for two months and quit because he was completely cured. His arthritis was in his fingers. Now, more than a decade later, he is beginning to notice a slight return of symptoms so has decided to start the treatment up again. As to the percentage of people whom it has helped, I don't know. But, in my family, two have tried it and two have been cured so that is a 100% cure rate in my family. Hope it helps others.

That sounds a little hard on the throat and tum tum. Shouldn't you mix it with water or something?

I think for most people, just this remedy won't cure their arthritis. I think it would take a whole lifestyle and diet change to exact a lasting and real cure. Don't get me wrong, I believe it worked for your mom and dad. It must have been enough for them. But, I think for most people with arthritis, the problem goes much deeper than what the nutrients in apple cider vinegar and honey can do for the symptoms. And, unless the sugar in the honey is problematic (as in Candida infection), I guess it couldn't hurt.

Don't take the following as an offense, but if your dad has his arthritis back again, then maybe it wasn't really a cure. A cure eliminates the cause, which eliminates the symptoms. And arthritis itself is not the cause, it's a symptom.

Thanks, Donna E.

I certainly agree with you but one cannot argue with success.

I am waiting (with bated breath) to hear that everyone who does this is "cured" and I will be the first to change my mind. Wouldn't it be wonderful!

Walt

Very true, Walt. Maybe I should start using it for a while and see what happens. Although, I'm doing so many other things, I won't know exactly what contributed to my wellness!! Just kidding, of course I'll know. It'll be all of it.

I see that I used the word "cure" rather loosely. I meant a disappearance of the symptoms. I am sure that the underlying cause has NOT been cured. But, if the symptoms can be relieved that should be a help to many people. I also do not mean to imply that it would be a "cure" for all types of arthritis. However, it did work in the two cases that I know about. Forgot to ask Daddy if any of his friends tried it and if they did with what, if any, success. Well get back to you on that.
