Reminder: CMO for arthitis

Posted by R. on April 13, 2003 at 10:27:22:

I just received a message in an email list I subscribe to about great effectiveness of CMO for arthritis and wanted to pass it to you all. This comes from a man from whom Highly effective protocol for treating arthritis came. I am forwarding this with his permission.
-----------------------------------------------
"After reading the original inquiry (R.: Glucosamine/ Chondritin not helping and MSM helping only when taken), and the list responses so far, I feel constrained to mention the superb effects of Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) as an adjunctive support to the other......quite effective protocols mentioned. Some of the MOST intractable cases of arthritic insult (from among a rather large volunteer population) did not exhibit acceptable response.......until CMO became a member of our protocol grouping.
It is difficult for me to over-emphasize the powerful role CMO performed in aiding these most-difficult-of-all among our experimental volunteers. Especially in its arresting of the progressive degrading of the articulating joint environments.
Additionally, CMO was the only element (from those we utilized) that was ever successful in establishing an un-aided, long-term effect----one that in a very high percentage of cases.......did not require continued support or a repetition of the original protocol."

Hi Walt,

I recall you saying that your wife is an arthritis sufferer; does she have RA or OA? Does she use this type of protocol for her arthritis; if so, has she seen any improvement? I've had RA for 3 years, and for the past year have gotten my symptoms under control (thanks to this board!) by starting with the elimination diet and slowly incorporating the 3LS into my life. I'm not currently taking any supplements. I do still have the occasional flare and am wondering if there's anytning I can do to reverse the damage that's already done to my feet and hands and to ELIMINATE RA for good.

I think CMO is known to be effective for both types of arthritis, and all the supplements in the referenced protocol should work for you to replace lost cartilage.

Thanks, DonnaW.

You know about "A prophet having no credence in his own country"? Well that is the way with my wife. She is wiling to take a pill but not willing to do anything else.

She has OA. Her father had it bad from the time he was 30. His got so bad in his fingers, he was an organ playing virtuoso, that his fingers would no longer fit between the keys. She is convinced that since it is genetic that she can do nothing about it. I guess she has not yet suffered enough.

Walt, I have a suggestion for you. Fake a couple of reports of a study or two that would show that arthritic children of arthritic parents have been healed. Fool your wife into believing that there are ways to improve her condition.

Thanks, Walt. I DO have experience along these lines; I have yet to convice my fast food-eating, coke guzzling, sugar-fiend husband that he probably isn't going to get a wake up call like I did. He thinks that since (at 39) his weight is still perfect and he is still very physically active (running, baseball, etc.), he's in GREAT shape. Every day I hope that he won't just fall dead in his tracks! Oh well, I'll keep preaching -- maybe my boys are getting it. . .

Hi, R.

Whether it helped or not, she would kill me when she found out that I had lied to her. Not worth it. Let her suffer :o).

Thanks, DonnaW.

Our bodies are tricky that way. They are designed to compensate and compensate and it seems that we are just doing fine. Finally it tries to compensate one time too many and we suddenly have symptoms. Sound like you husband?

This is the way EVERY serious chronic condition happens.
