Hi, Guy.
I do not understand how excessive sun exposure could possibly have any bearing on easy bruising. Your aspirin could be contributing since that is how it works: it makes the platelets less sticky so the normall clotting mechanism no longer is as efficient at plugging up the tiny leaks that happen to our blood vessels every day. This could also be contributing to the eye problem which is not a concern although it looks very bad.
If I were you, I would start reversing WHY you have a problem with the blood vessels in your heart rather than just covering up the warning lights on your dashboard with your medications (see the note today about coronary artery disease). Until you have actually reversed the causes (about 6 months of the Pritikin Program or Ornish Program I have basically outlined above) you need to continue treating your syjmptoms conventionally.
In the meantime, you might strengthen your capillary walls by taking at least 3000 milligrams of pure bioflavinoids a day. There is no way that this can harm you or interfere with your medications.
Let us know how you do.

I too have a broken blood vessel in my eye where the normally white part is now blood red (left eye only)Ihave been taking one baby aspirin daily for near ten years (as a consequence of having a quadruple by-pass operation) to prevent possible heart attack. Also 20 mg Zocor daily for same reason. Also a Multivitamin. I noticed for some time I bruise easily but my internist Dr. told me it was due to past sun exposure. (Im 77 yrs.old) Eye Dr. is treating the eye with Blephamide opth/susp for 5 days . Is my long term use of Aspirin and Zocor a possible problem here ?? I am in good health otherwise.
