Dear Walt
I have tried to search the board for information about arthritis but have not succeeded in finding anything more than the fact that you helped Robert McFerran with his rheumatoid arthritis.
My granny is 86 and in has never suffered any health problems in her life. However, she is now beginning to get arthritis in the joints in her fingers. I think I remember you mentioning rolfing as a helpful treatment - if this is the case would it help when the problem is just in the hands? Do you have any other suggestions?
Thank you for your help in this.
Georgie

Dear Alice,
Rolfing would be a wonderful expereince for your granny IF she is the kind of person interested in new experiences. It would not only help her arthritis but I would bet that you would see 10 years melt off her. If you have had a close relationship with her all these years, you could not miss this change. SHE would notice it first, probably, but who would believe it unless they saw it with their own eyes???
If she is one who needs to understand something before doing it, have her read Rosie Speigel's book "Bodies, Health & Consciousness".
Let us know her experience. I am beginning to believe that everyone over 40, in this culture, should have 10 Rolfing sessions.
If she is not already taking the essential oils, described on the FAQ page, that would give her relief even before the Rolfing.
