Sudden cardiac death and aspartame? New info. Archive.

This is such an evil thing... I see so many diabetics
drinking "diet" sodas and when I ask why- they say it is better for
their health than the regular... A known "side effect" of these
healthier, sugar free drinks is DEATH!!

I have ( had ) been a diet soda drinker for over 3 decades, until I read an article in our local
Vitality magazine.... and it did scare me enough to quit. It listed 92 symptoms associated with aspartame !! My headaches, which were daily, have virtually disappeared. It took me a while to find a substitute drink .... but I now find that plain old tap water ( which I never used to drink ) is the best thirst quencher ! Thanks for the
reminder. JC

How scary is that?
This is another one that I'm printing out to put at my studio.

Let's not forget that aspartame is not only in diet sodas. It is in sugar free cereal, gum, fruit snacks, jello, pudding, etc. We need to be reading the lables on EVERYTHING that is not a whole food. Personally, if the lables lists aspartame or a type of trans fat, I put it right back on the shelf.

I drank dietcoke daily from age 13 (1982) to 1992, nutra sweet in coffee from 1994 to 1996. In 1997 I was diagnosed with 4 meningiomas (brain tumors). granted I have a genetic condition that predisposes me to them butim sure the aspartame did not help! the last time i accidently ate it (in a cake my mom made) i got an instant headache and felt very lightheaded.
