Asthma in Children..

Posted by Steve [3019.1399] on December 08, 2004 at 13:05:47:

One in four kids has asthma..The lineup of inhalers is at the nurse's office to be administered during medicine break..

Medicine break? What is that? There was never any medicine break when I went to school..In fact I can't remember anyone having asthma..

The reasons are multiple: Kids are fed margarines, commercial salad dressings with hydrogenated vegetable oil, French fries, chips, bleached white bread, cereals, caddies, cookies, pretzels, sodas and Gatorade..Throw in some antibiotics and they usually have Candida overgrowth, causing IBS and LGS..

Number one fix is omega-3 EPA and DHA or Cod Liver Oil..Number two fix is magnesium..Also recommended is a detox program..

I have a friend in Singapore where asthma is very common among children. Her son was taking Ventolin twice a day and I suggested she have EDS testing for food allergies from my naturopathic doctor. Sure enough, the tests were positive. Within six months of elimination of the foods, her son was no longer taking Ventolin! Oh, that doctors knew what they were doing!

Hi Steve,

You may have forgotten, vitamin B12, D, C, iron.

Add in hepa filters, antibacterial soaps, overly frequent hand washing, not prescription antihistamines at the firt sign of
a sniffle and no wonder the immune system has no antibodies
to what is in the environment.

vaccines are another cause-today's kids are getting a LOT more vaccines than the baby boomers did. They are also under a lot more stress with divorced parents and having to deal with live-ins,steps, and their assorted kids.
