Dear Dr., I live in Australia, and you are not told much at all over here, my Friends father died very suddenly last week, and they were told he had a massive heart attack, did not drink smoke etc.,Aged 74.He was blind in one eye and was having Laser tratment in the other, and came home that night extremely depresses that they could could do nothing for him. The Death Certificate states Aschemic Attack,in my limited opinion that is a Stroke, I feel that he was so depressed, that may he did have a stroke, he said to his wife that he was feeling nauseous, and was sick and then hit the floor and was dead. My frineds are most upset and asked me if I could find out anymore information, The keep you on a need to know basis over here.
Please when you have time I home you can answer my email if only to put their minds at rest.

Hi, Zylla.

You have a right to that information if only for genetic reasons to protect yourself and your offspring!!!!!!!!

Unless an autopsy was performed, the reason they are being so mysterious probably is because they do not KNOW and do not want to appear ignorant.

Ischemia of the brain causes a stroke and iscnemia of the heart muscle causes a coronary. Both are most commonaly caused by atherosclerosis.

NOW. Why was he having the eye problems? The most common cause of what you said is diabetes and people with diabetes have a much higher incidence of BOTH the above.

Let us know what you learn.

Walt
