Concernd about bakers cyst

Hello Dr. Stoll,
This is my first time asking a question but I have a seven year old who was diagnosed with a bakers cyst one year ago. The cyst has ruptured several times and keeps returning she complains with leg pains all the time but it is not a localised pain it is all over her legs. Could this be coming from the bakers cyst? Could the bakers cyst be cancerous? Cancer is a big concern I have with leaving the cyst is it o.k. for it not to be removed? It will rupture and in days it is back again.I hope you can answer my questions.

Thank you very much!

Hi, Angie.

The first thing for you to do is to learn enough about this that you are not at the mercy of docs who just take the money and run. ALL docs know everything I have been saying here for years, why do they not take the time to explain?

BAKER'S CYST IS CAUSED BY A HERNIA THROUGH THE FIBROUS CAPSULE OF THE KNEE JOINT. UNTIL THAT WEAKENED AREA IS FOUND AND SUTURED CLOSED, OF COURSE THE CYST AND HER SYMPTOMS WILL RECUR.

Spend a few hours on the link I have prepared for you below. THEN, you will be prepared to ask for the information your docs should be volunteering to you.

Let us know how she does and if you have any more questions after reading the link.

Walt
