reacurance of bakers cyst

i have had two left knee surgerys for tore menucius tear now i have large bakers cysts behind the knee prolbem happing is that it busted inside of leg and then reacurred in 6 days i have check with 4 diffrent doctors to remove this cyst no one wants to bother with it and now it is causing a burning in my top left foot and i wonder do i have to keep letting this thing bust and what will happen if i contuie to let it do so also why cant i get no one to work on this and what will happen in the long run if i let this cyst stay there and keep busting in there it gets real large end protruding it is about the size of an egg not real good at typing sorry thanks sinc vitor

Hi, Victor.

Remember that the medial meniscus is part and parcel of the capsule of the joint and so, when torn, frequently produces a leak in the capsule (see any anatomy atlas). If the surgeon is not careful the leak is not discovered and that almost guarantees the recurrence of this false "cyst".

See the archives and get a second opinion from a surgeon who cares enough to do the very best---in my opinion. Get copies of all your medical records to take to the new doc, in your hand, to save time and money.
