Baker's cyst

I have a Baker's cyst that is giving me much pain and I think perhaps has ruptured. The orthopedic surgeon I went to brushed off the idea. How can I find a surgeon with experience in repairing these ruptures? I live in Michigan. Thanks for any help.

Hi, Chloe.

If you have digested the archives about this, you are in a position to judge the expertise of any surgeon. I know of no one, personally, in MI that would be suitable. That does not mean that they are not there since ALL surgeons know at least what I know. You just have to find one who is caring enough to USE her knowledge and explain, thoroughly, to you what she is plans to do and why.
