I was delighted to see this information and chart. I have read all three of David Hawkins books this year and I can honestly say that NO books have ever provided the information and excitement these do. I am amazed. Most importantly, I am changed and will continue to change.
To relate his content to the interests expressed on this website, and Dr. Stoll's teachings--oh my...nearly every page. But the applied kinesiology--Wow! Hawkins also advocates meditation. One thing that interested me is that he said many cases of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue could be cured by hypnosis. Sometimes sensitive people read so much bad hype that they take it in and begin to express symptoms (we are assuming that there's no physical cause like LGS...or that the LGS has been healed but the person still feels badly)
He also expresses the same belief as Dr. Stoll that truth takes about 20 years to become accepted.
This has been such a wonderful time for reading--Hawkins, Dr. Stoll, even the DaVinci Code because we wake up and realize lots of information has been hidden from us...and that we've been asleep and living on assumptions and what other people told us to believe. We've revered one type of person's gift over another (for example, An MD over an 80 year old midwife or curandera who has cared for a community for a LONG time)
I wanted to report one personal thing to this board--I had my second Rolfing session and a swivel in my walk that has given me hip pain for YEARS is GONE!!!!!!!!!! Gone in that second session. I'm telling you the truth. I had $300 orthotics, cortisone injections, months of oral predisone. Anyway, I got the idea of Rolfing from this column. I thought it was some 70's thing. I'm simply amazed.
I just thank everyone for what I've learned from you. I kind of have a mental picture of those of you who post often.
How fun!
Love,
Glo
