My daughter brought home 3 sick barn kittens. I have a peke, a poodle and three adult cats. Within three weeks all my animals, my grandchildren, my husband, myself and my daughter and son-in-law had what we thought were bites all over us. They inches then got a crusty scab. They looked like chicken pox. Some of the spots got bigger around, some stayed like a mosquito bite. We went to the docter. He didn't know if it was infintago or ringworm. We went to the Vet she said it was ring worm and we were all treated for ringworm. In two weeks the cats were covered and the poodle was infested. The Peke wasn't as bad. We bathed all animals daily with badadine scrubs. My husband was getting scared and he treated his sores with gasoline adn pure clorox, that resulted in chemical burns. The dogs adn I was also treated with grifulvin. Three weeks my husband and animals are terrible, I took him to a dermatologist. He did skin scrapeing on both of us and said it is absultly not ring worm! The pharmasist said it is not ring worm. I had the dog skin tested and sent to a lab. The results will not be back for a month. My grandchildren continue to break out. We do not have fleas. I use "front line". I am desperate, and going broke. Any suggestions?

Hi, Mary Jo.
Just from your story, this never sounded like a fungus to me. It was bug bites all the way.
Sounds like you need an exterminator and simultaneously get everyone debugged. Your vet (a competent holistic vet--see the archives) should be able to help you.
Let us know what you learn.
