firenat bites

i am looking for any suggestions on alternative treatment for fireant bites. i have been advised that if you apply a clorax/water solution within 15 mins of the bite, it will eliminate the puss/infection of the bite. i have tried that but sometimes it works and other times it does not. i also am asking for a suggestion to 'heal' the bite area so that i have no scar from the bite. i have been applying an OTC neosporin type cream but here again, it is hit or miss with the results. Read the posting on the toenail fungus and will try the vinegar. thanks

Hi, Margie.

By far the most effective approach to ANY bug bite is meat tenderizer to denature the venom. There have been several postings about this recently and I am starting an archive about it because it is so effective and so simple to use.

Walt
