My recent bloodwork shows WBC right at the bottom of the range
and RDW near the top....
After a couple of years of excellent diet I am a little disappointed. What can I do to make these numbers better.

Hi Paul,
Do you have a chronic blood loss problem that would cause a low Iron level? Have you been tested for Thalessemia?

No blood loss....I just looked into Thalessemia..thanks.
My ferritin 162 which is mid range but my Tibc is at the
very bottom of the range. What does that tell you......
Oh, my unbound iron is a little low but in the bottom third of
the range.

If you EVER had normal blood counts, it would not be Thallosemia ...(I have it)... so maybe that could help you to test for something moot.
If you ever gave blood, if you ever had an operation, ever had blood work ups; you'd not have tested normal. And if you ever GAVE blood - you don't have it.

Agreed....btw thats a whole lot more a factor in your own
dysbiosis than the path you are on.....

Hi,PaulC.
Without accompanying symptoms, this is probably genetic (normal for you).

Thanks Walt, I`m not hypochondrial..just curious..lol
Well, I still have low SigA and improving dysbiosis.
My fatigue is 80% gone and still improving and my b12/folic
acid is low as diagnosed by high homocysteine.
What interested me was that my WBC four years ago was 5.5
and it is has now been 4 for the last couple of years despite
this great health regimen.
Thats what`s puzzling.

Hi Paul,
You can loose blood in the stool without anything very obvious.
Sounds like you are in for more testing. Any abnormal shaped blood cells?
Any anemia?
Don't take any iron supplements if you are going to get more tests. They could cloud the numbers.

Thanks, PaulC.
There are MANY factors that go into immunity. The likelyhood is that by your improving some of those factors, the wisdom of your bodymind is saying: "I guess I no longer need so many WBCs to make up the sum that is my total immunity."
The proof would be in what your WBCs count is a couple of days after you get seriously sick with some kind of infection.
