Hi,
Has anyone had a food sensitivity test(IGA, Elisa food allergy test or similar) and did it reveal anything worthwhile? I am certain that I have a food allergy of some sort which is causing my acne, but I am not entirely sure which food it is.
Did you go through a naturopath or an MD to get this test done?
Also, I found a link to this lab which claims to do this testing through the mail with just a drop of blood. They screen up to 113 food, but the cost is pretty hefty (around $350). Any opinions?

Thanks.

Holly,
The most accurate and by far least expensive way to test this is in vivo by your testing yourself (elimination/provocation). You will never see this promoted because it makes no bucks for the system.
This takes work and understanding but at least you will have the choice: less work and more expense for less accurate results, or more work and less expense for more accurate results.
"YPYM&YTYC" (a very ancient shill's cry): "You pays your money and you takes your choice!"
Hope this helps.
