Robert, thankyou for the reply.when trying the elimination diet I felt pretty good the 1st day ,eating peaches was a luxury my body was not used to!unfortunately by day 2 I was so ill, I assumed the fruit was the culprit,It seems to cause me problems whenever i eat any type of fruit, the fish also does not seem to agree, but i shall run the diet again minus the peaches (out of season obviously)and keep you posted. Also could you let me know where I can contact the lab you mentioned, antibody assays. As to my experiencing withdrawals on the diet my symptoms seemed more like reactions than withdrawals,I probably will not begin the diet util after thanksgiving as ill be travelling to the inlaws! once again many thanks.

You started feeling poorly on the second day of the elimination diet because you were experiencing withdrawl.
Withdrawl can be very severe. I personally was completely debilitated with flu-like symptoms during day 2 and 3. Things improved a bit by day 4 and by day 5 I felt better than I had in years.
The link below will lead you to the test that I feel is the best in the industry for candida overload.
Waiting until after Thanksgiving is a smart move.
