Bob: Extremism is a virtue

Bob:

I think I am an extreme H-G. Even before I heard of the metabolic diet I knew that when my LGS was acting up the best diet change was to eat meat and nothing but meat.

How would you define an extreme H-G diet?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

Imagine the diet of one of our ancestors that lived in an EXTREME climate. Say very, very cold or very, very arid.

What would they eat?

The answer is that they would have very little in the way of plant food in their diets -- forcing them to rely VERY heavily on animals.

It is important to note that the H-G metabolism will always need at least some carbohydrate with meat at a meal.

Bob
