Posted by Corinne Rodriguez on February 24, 1999 at 00:26:21:

1.What preparations must be made before starting the Elimination Diet?
2. In your opinion, what is the best way to control or get rid of cellulite? Eat no fat, less fat, or more of the good fats. Or exercise?
3. How soon does a food that you are allergic to show symptoms?

Connie,

Please read the abstract on the ELIMINATION DIET in the archive section of this web site to find what preparations you should make.

The best way to normalize your weight is to eat a diet that is matched to your inherited metabolism. Look for more information on the Metabolic Diets in the archive section also.

Most food allergies will yield a 'hyper-acute response' within 45 minutes after their ingestion. The symptoms are usually the prominent re-occurance of whatever symptoms you were having prior to 'clearing'. Headache and fatigue as well as sinus congestion, aching joints or muscles or stomach distress are not uncommon.

Bob
