recipes for LGS/candida/blood type A

Posted by jason on September 10, 1998 at 20:40:14:

I am looking for quick and easy recipes for a LGS/candida/and perhaps blood type A diet. I would like recipes for very filling meals as I am working out to put on mass and am not in need of weight loss. It is most important to find meals that won't upset my LGS and candida situation. I would like more feedback on what is thought of the blood type diet. I have read the book but I need more convincing.
I would also like info on supplements that help support the rehabilitation of the digestive tract. I have tried one product called UltraClear Sustain that I am happy with but it costs $60 for a 2-3 week supply. Perhaps there are some reputable supplements out there that are not so costly.

Dear Jason,

The 4-R program from Ultraclear Sustain IS the best that I know of. Once your skilled relaxation, exercise & diet kick in, you should no longer need it.

Thanks for the response, Walt.
Do you or does anyone else out there have recommendations on literature containing recipes (or just have any recipes to offer) for a LGS/candida diet? Some of my biggest frustration in all of this is having to figure out what to cook for myself. By the time I understand the cross section of all the diets I am supposed to follow I expect that the only thing I will be allowed to eat is a rutabaga on odd numbered Tuesdays.
And what about the blood type diet? Any pros/cons there?

Hi Jason,

I think you've come to the right place. In my humble opinion you can't do any better than to work with Bob McFerran to find the diet that is just right for you. A month ago I did his 6-day elimination diet, identified my food allergies, and started eating a whole new way that's perfect for my agriculturist metabolism. I can't believe what a difference it has made. My weight has normalized, my energy has increased, my skin has cleared...all this in 3 weeks...and the food is the best I've ever eaten. He's a great guy and he knows what he's doing. He's very knowledgeable about LGS and candida. You might want to first go into the archives and read the chapters from his upcoming book and the posts about his diet. Then drop him a note. I'm confident you'll be glad you did.

Pam
