The area around my eye became bruised and I'm having a black eye, as a result of banging my head on the wall. It happened a day ago. What is the fastest way to heal the bruises? I read somewhere saying the 1st day should use cold compress, and 2nd day warm compress, while somewhere else say the first 2 days use cold compress, and 3rd day warm compress. Also, how many days would this last? (The area is small, just closely around the eye, something that look as if the dark makeup). Thanks in advance.

Arnica gel and tablets work wonders. Also, consider leaving your wall.

Hi, Uglee.
Listen to Gramma. The Arnica is a good idea. Also, the classical miraculous solution to bruising is topical DMSO (available in your local healthfood store or veterinarian).
Let us know how you do.
