Hi, I'm 20 years old and I broke my right humerous bone about 9 weeks ago. The bone completley shattered and I needed a plate with 9 screws in it. A branch of my radial nerve either lacerated or got pinched in the process as well, which inhibits the full use of my hand and wrist. Chances are I will need neuro surgery to attempt to get the nerve back to normal. I was wondering how long this will take to heal, if ever, and how long it will be when I will be able to have a normal lifestyle again after the neuro sugery.

Hi, Ryan.
These are questions best answered by your surgeon. I am sure his charges were sufficient to cover his taking a few minutes to explain this to you.
Basically, nerve tissue regenerates at the rate of 1/2 inch per month.
