Mysterious bruises

I hve noted various postings on the subject of leg bruises.
My symptoms are similar in that I have several small circular 'bruises' or discolorations which do not hurt, and have not cleared up as with normal bruised tissue.

I do travel a lot by air, and have been aware of the DVT situation.

Unfortunately, I also noted your comments on family history regarding varicose veins. My father suffered very badly from vein damage.

Do you think that these marks could be related?

Hi, Stewart.

Air travel is especially bad for this because you are sort of trapped in that little seat for so long. It would help a lot if you could get up and walk around at least every 10 minutes during the flight.

In the meantime, you might see a lot of benefit from the bioflavinoid protocol (see the bruising archives). Bruises that are alreadsy there will disappear faster if you use 50% DMSO, topically, about 3 times a day. Put it on one leg and leave the other one without to prove to yourself how much it helps.

Let us know what you learn.

Walt
