I'm a 38 year old male who has never broke a bone in his body til july 1st of 2000, I fell off a bike and broke my left wrist and Humorus, the Doctor told me I would need surgery to heal the brake so I was admitted to the hospital to have a screw placed in my left wrist and a 2 screws and a rod placed in my left Humorus, that was done on July 1st of 2000, since then the bone has refused to heal, every 6 weeks I returned to the doctors office for an x-ray only to be told my bone wasn't healing.
On July 19th of 2001 I was admitted to the hospital to have the 2 screws and rod removed from my arm and a metal plate with 7 screws put in, they also did a bone graph using some cadaver bone and what I was told was a form of bone glue.
My question is..
If the bone didn't heal before do you think with this procedure it will heal this time, my doctor said only time will tell. I'm still to using the exogen machine that I've been using throughout this ordeal,I'm dying to get back to a normal life including work and getting back on the golf course.. Do you know of anything I could do to help it along???

Hi, Don.
This is a case of "To a hammer, everything looks like a nail." Hasn't your doc ever heard of Robert Becker, MD's little electrostimulation device for bones that do not heal?
This technology has been available for at least 20 years. Where has this doc been? I think it is time for a second opinion by someone who is up on things.
This nas no negative side-effects like the "bone glue" which is very toxic.
Let us know how you do.
