Another broken blood vessel in eye

Posted by Mike V. on October 05, 2001 at 09:45:29:

Hello -

This is the 2nd one this year. My Mom used to get these too every ince in a while. Is that bad? I have no pain or loss of vision - just half of my right eye looks red. This always has faded away in a week or so.

My sister died at age 56 from pulmonary hemmorhage.

Should I take something for this? Some vitamin or mineral? Do you think that I may be in danger of dying of a similar thing? I eat 50% raw foods and exercise regularly.

Thank you.

Mike

Hi, Mike.

Take a look at the archives about bruising (and about eye)and get started on at least 3000 milligrams of pure bioflavinoids a day (1000, 3X a day). Most bioflavinoid products are highly diluted so you will have to find how much there actually is in any product.

When you have had no more hemorrhages within a 6 month period, try cutting the dose in half. Keep doing that until you have another hemorrhage and then go back to the previous dose. It will take you years to figure out YOUR maintenance dose.

This tendency IS inherited and, if your sister had had this information she would probably be alive today. Be thankful that YOUR warning was right out there where you could not ignore it.

Let us know how you do.

Walt

Very interesting. Thank you Walt. I'll do that.

Mike
