I have started giving my mother, who had a recent major stroke, COQ10. It seems that every time I give her the COQ10, it causes her heart rate to increase. Could this increase in heart rate be due to the COQ10, or could this just be coincidental? Also, I want to give her Natto, but the doctor has put her on aspirin, 325 mg per day. Would the Natto interfere with the aspirin? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Tonia - Sounds to me like your mother is allergic to the Q-10 or at least "That Brand". Anything that causes the heart rate to increase, indicates an allergic reaction so I would stop giving her that brand of Q-10. Dr Schulze's has a liquid "Heart Formula" that would be better for her to take so you might consider that. To order phone: 1-800-437-2362 - cost $28.00. * S.H.A.P.E. *

Hi, Tonia.
Listen to SHAPE.
What is Natto?
One adult aspirin twice a week is the correct dose of aspirin for what it has been prescribed!

Dr. Stoll, Natto is a Japanese fermented soy product that is supposed to be very effective in clot dissolving and clot prevention.
By the way, I am very appreciative of your responses to the posts on this BB. I have posted several questions before, and you have provided very useful information. I also think your book is wonderful.

Thanks, Tonia.
I have no experience with anything like Natto.
