I am completely amazed how organic food makes for improved health.
I feel like I have been scrubbed inside and out. Clean, renewed and fresh.
We have been reading the new book by Walt and Jan and added lots of organic.
WSe have been pretty strict and disciplined till now.A DO nutritionist even gave us a thumbs up about a year ago and reamarked " you have taken your health very seriously and it shows in all of the tests" We did every imaginable (Smokie) test where the labs sent the results back for allergy, urine, blood work of all kinds. No cholesterol, sugar, high blood pressure..all organs good.
I did this after all the medical exams and tests but I really wanted to know more.
anyhow recently we have been doing organic soups with lentils, beans, veggies...I could eat them 3 times a day they are so delicious. Lots of quality protein bars. Added fiber. Organic juice, pasta.
I mean to tell you I feel so much better and lost 5 pounds and my husband 10 because the quality helps digestion etc.
Anyhow to Philly girl thanks... for your example to us.
Step by step..going forward.
I have been adding pilates that I love love love and more walking, stretching.
We have a deck full of fresh herbs and add them to our homemade meals and oh my this is terrific.
I heard tht onion, garlic, ginger, sweet potatoe, squash aid pain...(Dr. Cass Ingram) and the entire area of fresh herbs just fascinates me. We have 3 huge gardens here (farms) with them where the owner walks up and down each leafy herb and tells the properties of each one.

We do stay pretty strict about the whole foods thing daily but now am going a step further..so much to learn.
I learned this week that I have more OA wear and tear from years of sports than RA..so I have to have a clean diet etc.
But my these organic foods are fabulous..
