Hi,
My boss has an 8 year old daughter who has been diagnosed with tongue thrusting - she is pushing her teeth out of whack, I think - and was told to get her a speech therapist. Recently she was also diagnosed with potential migrain headaches. From reading this board I thought that the two were probably related, and could be helped by SR, and told her so. I wanted to check back with the board to make sure I have given her the right info, and to see if there is more I can tell her (other than to check it out here herself, but I really like her and want to help). Can children do SR? How should they start, with the same tapes for grown-ups or are there other things? Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice!

Children can do SR a lot better than adults. I know, I used to do it as a child.

hi, Alphabet.
Your daughter is the perfect age for SR. Go to the library and ask them to find you a copy of Deborah Rozman's classic: "Meditating With Children".
Let us know how she does.
