Hi,
Please help everyone. I'm at a loss and don't know what's going on or even how to really describe my symptoms. I am thirty-years-old and developed pretty severe anxiety about a year ago. I'm controlling it with relaxation and hoping to completely eliminate it in time.
My problem is with my vaginal area. One or twice a week (and sometimes more) I get this funny feeling on the left side of my labia. It just feels irritated under the skin and sometime even sore and sensitive but when I look, there is absolutely nothing there! Even when I feel with my finger it doesn't hurt because it's under the skin. Ocassionally my tailbone also hurts and feels heavy. Please give me ideas about what may be going on and what I can do about it. When I do frequent body scans, I find myself constantly tensing my inner thigh and goin muscles.

This "feeling" often starts mid-morning, gets worse in the evening and is pretty much gone the next morning.

Hi Chris, first of all have you been to a Doctor to make sure there is nothing there. Sometimes our fears can get the better of us and turn from mole hills to mountains. If you would like to try a natural method I would suggest going to an Irodoligist. They can tell you many things about your body that the medical community will not find.

Yes, I have been to the doctor to no avail. Thanks for the suggestions. I cannot find an irodologist in my area unfortunately. I'm wondering if my anxiety is making a mountain out of a hill in this case but it's hard to believe I could conjur up these symptoms so often.

Hi Chris,
I don't think your symptoms are conjured up. But, not knowing what they are causes alot of anxiety. What area do you live in? Have you looked up Iridology on the search engine? You may be able to get a list of people in or close to your area.

Chris, could you have a pinched nerve?

Hi, Chris.
The most common causse of what you are describing is bracing of the area. Bracing can also cause pinched nerves in the area and anxiety will further focus the bracing to the area.
Massage would probably help temporarily and so prove to you that bracing is at least the smoking gun of your symptoms.
Let us know what you learn and how you do.
