Posted by JOHNNY JONES [1669.912] on February 10, 2004 at 21:24:41:

IN REFERANCE TO DENNY NASH POSTED ON 1-19-03
I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR 20 YEARS. ONLY THING I CAN DO IS
WASH MY RECTUM IN AS HOT OF WATER AS POSSIBLE. I'M 58 YEARS
OLD AND I WISH I COULD FIND A SOLUTION. BELIEVE ME IT GETS
OLD AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. I'VE BEEN TO SEVERAL DOCTORS AND THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS. MAYBE SOMEONE WHO HAS HAD
THIS PROBLEM MAY BE OF SOME HELP.

Have you tried exercize, along the lines of keagels? The rectal spincter is a muscle after all.I mean like, working up to 100 squeezes a day?

Hi, Johnny.

I hope that, after all this time, you are willing to "think outside the box". Apparently, no one else has yet had a clue.

In my opinion, that means that every other possibility has already been ruled out. Chronic and persistant anal sphincter bracing would produce exactly these symptoms (muscular exhaustion) AND would respond (temporarily) to the heat you have found has helped! See the bracing and the anal probelms archives.

THEN, get busy eliminating this process and let us know how you are doing in about a year.

Walt
